About the Fundraising Group Coordinator role

Volunteer Manager: Head of Community & Events

Available locations: Your local area.

Commitment: Flexible – minimum of eight hours per month.

What you'll be doing

  • Organising and attending Life events and collections in your local area. 
  • Recruiting, welcoming, and managing volunteers within your fundraising group. 
  • Helping your fundraising group plan and organise a calendar of fundraising events, working with the Head of Community & Events. 
  • Building relationships with local networks, organisations, schools, and social groups to host events. 
  • Making sure all fundraising policies and procedures are followed. 
  • Encouraging support for Life by forming and maintaining relationships with local supporters. 

What you'll need

  • A friendly and helpful attitude. 
  • The ability to generate enthusiasm and motivate people. 
  • Good communication and networking skills. 
  • A passion for organising events. 
  • Good knowledge of your local area. 
  • Aged 16 years old or over.
