About the Fundraising Group Coordinator role
Volunteer Manager: Head of Community & Events
Available locations: Your local area.
Commitment: Flexible – minimum of eight hours per month.
What you'll be doing
- Organising and attending Life events and collections in your local area.
- Recruiting, welcoming, and managing volunteers within your fundraising group.
- Helping your fundraising group plan and organise a calendar of fundraising events, working with the Head of Community & Events.
- Building relationships with local networks, organisations, schools, and social groups to host events.
- Making sure all fundraising policies and procedures are followed.
- Encouraging support for Life by forming and maintaining relationships with local supporters.
What you'll need
- A friendly and helpful attitude.
- The ability to generate enthusiasm and motivate people.
- Good communication and networking skills.
- A passion for organising events.
- Good knowledge of your local area.
- Aged 16 years old or over.
