About this event
Take on the legendary Sunrise on Pen y Fan and be rewarded with an epic sunrise from the summit of one of Wales’s highest mountains!
You’ll get full support along the way from Elite Adventures’ team of Mountain Leaders who will ensure you get the very best of this amazing experience.

03:00 at Pont Cwm y fedwen Car Park – Talybont-on-Usk, Merthyr Tydfil, CF48 2UT.
Route
The Pen y Fan Sunrise Trek starts beside the old disused mountain railway station and takes a circular route to the summit.
Approximate trip length is seven hours.

- Walking shoes
- Appropriate clothing
- Waterproofs
- Warm layers
- Hat and gloves (if needed)
- Food, snacks, and water (minimum 1.5 litres recommended)
- Head torch and spare batteries (these can be hired from Elite Adventures for £4 – add this to your basket before paying)
You’ll also need to make sure you have an appropriate level of fitness for the challenge.
