About this event
Embark on a truly unforgettable journey along one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. This immersive trekking adventure takes you far beyond the tourist trail, revealing remote and rugged sections of the wall steeped in centuries of history. Beginning in the vibrant capital of Beijing, you’ll journey into the quiet mountains and countryside where the Wall winds its way through dramatic ridges, forested hills, and ancient battlements.
Each day offers a new perspective: from the wild, crumbling stones of Gubeikou, to the panoramic ridgelines of Jinshanling, and the beautifully restored steps of Simatai. Along the way, you’ll experience authentic hospitality in traditional guesthouses, gain fascinating insight into the Wall’s military and cultural significance, and challenge yourself physically with exhilarating treks over steep ascents and uneven terrain.
With time to explore Beijing’s iconic sights at either end of the trip, including the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, this is a perfect balance of adventure, culture, and discovery.
You’ll be raising vital funds for women facing unexpected pregnancy journeys or baby loss. Thanks to you women will be able to access vital support services; such as our free helpline giving women the space to talk with no judgement, and access more services like our housing for anyone fleeing domestic abuse or at the risk of homelessness.
Payment options
1) Fundraise for a charity: Pay a registration fee of £395, then fundraise £4,700.
2) Self-Funded (pay your own costs) Pay a registration fee of £395, then a final payment of £2,350 no less than 10 weeks before departure. There is no set fundraising target, however we would recommend setting a £1000 target.
3) Flexi (pay your trip costs & fundraise) Pay a registration fee of £395, pay trip costs of £2,350 at least 12 weeks before departure, AND raise sponsorship of £2,350.
Please ensure you read the Booking Form terms and conditions, specifically around what will happen if you haven’t raised the required minimum sponsorship before a set date.
