About the Community Fundraising Champion role
Volunteer Manager: Head of Community & Events
Available locations: Home / remote
Commitment: Minimum two hours per week.
What you'll be doing
- Researching venues for a variety of fundraising opportunities.
- Writing to venues to ask for collections.
- Completing application forms for street collections.
- Organising and arranging volunteers for a collection rota.
- Researching Charity of the Year opportunities with local businesses, club, associations, and schools/universities.
- Securing placements of our collection boxes at various organisations.
What you'll need
- A friendly and helpful attitude.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Good organisation and IT skills.
- Passion and enthusiasm.
- Ability to work independently and use your initiative.
- Aged 16 years old or over.
No formal experience is needed – we provide all the training!
